The problem we are solving

India's equipment leasing market is enormous but almost entirely offline. A construction contractor in Hyderabad who needs a JCB for two weeks has to make dozens of calls, negotiate with brokers, and hope the equipment shows up. An equipment owner with machines sitting idle has no efficient way to find the right renter. UrboLease changes both sides of that equation.

India's leasing-to-GDP ratio is just 0.08%, compared to a global average of 1.7% (PwC-FICCI India Leasing Landscape Report, May 2024). The gap is enormous. The opportunity is real.

Based in Hyderabad, building for India

We launched in Hyderabad in 2026. Our focus right now is construction equipment, cameras, electronics, and commercial spaces - the categories with the highest leasing demand and the least digital infrastructure. We are expanding to Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, and Bangalore next.
